Part Time/Grant Funded Position
Pay: $16.00 per hour-average 29 hours per week with some flexibility
Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Psychology, Substance Abuse, Social Work, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field. At least one year working with the criminal justice population and/or adults with mental illness. If no degree-at least 5 years working with criminal justice population and/or adults with mental illness. Must be Computer Literate. Must have valid drivers’ license.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or related field. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be computer literate. At least one year working with the criminal justice population and/or adults with mental illness.
Must agree to submit and pass criminal background check and drug test.
Summary of Duties:
Mental Health Court case managers are expected to communicate regularly with the treatment team regarding participant progress and adherence to program rules. The case manager provides support for the Court Coordinator in the everyday operations of Mental Health Court. This position is responsible for the tracking of participant progress, individual meetings with clients, data collection, lead two weekly groups, and data system entry. This position will assist clients in locating resources necessary to meet their individual goals and current needs. Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are critical. The case manager will conduct scheduled and random drug tests on all participants in the program. Staff are expected to maintain the confidentiality of all participants and office information as required by federal law.
