2023 Annual Houston County Fire Department Volunteer Fundraiser

Houston County is currently serviced by a combination fire department comprised of career and volunteer firefighters. Each year we contract with Fire Rescue Support Team (F.I.R.S.T) to sponsor the Annual Houston County Fire Department Volunteer Portrait Fundraiser.

F.I.R.S.T will be going door to door on behalf of our agency to solicit donations beginning June 6, 2023, through December 15, 2023. In appreciation to each of our donors, they will receive a certificate for a FREE 10 x 13 professional family portrait.

We understand the need for precautions in any door-to-door fundraising; therefore, we have verification processes in place.

Please note that all F.I.R.S.T contractors will have picture identification available at the door, an introductory letter signed by our chief and all other pertinent information is on file with our dispatch center.

To verify, please reach out to (478) 542-2000 (any date/time); the dispatch center will be able to verify the solicitor’s name, their vehicle description (make, model and color) and their tag number.

Your tax-deductible donation enables us to supplement funding for much needed equipment to continue to assure a high level of emergency response for those who deserve the best…the people of our community.
